Classical and Living Book Recommendations for Muslims
Free literature guide for Muslim Australian families. 60 plus classical and living books, organised by theme, checked against Islamic values, with Australian Curriculum links for Years 7 to 12.
What makes this guide different?
Every single text in this guide has been individually assessed against seven Islamic content criteria before inclusion:
• No swearing or profanity
• No sexual references or themes
• No homosexual characters
• No ideas related to terrorism or glorified evil
• No Shirk (association with Allah)
• No mocking of religion
• No magic
Only texts that pass these standards appear in the recommended list. This is not a general reading list with a few Islamic titles added in. Every book has been deliberately chosen and checked.
